Manly brothers LamBros sign management, announce European tour behind new single

By

Northern Beaches brothers Connor and Harry Lambrou have signed co-management with Woolstore Music and Plug and Play and European booking agent Roam Artists following the international success of debut single You Won't Call. LamBros play BIGSOUND showcases on 1-2 September before embarking on their first European and UK tour, hitting festivals and venues across the Netherlands, Germany, Scotland and England through mid-September.

Northern Beaches rock/blues duo LamBros have quietly become one of Australia’s newest music exports since the release of You Won’t Call in February, and have today followed up with a massive sounding, hook-laden epic Never Let Me Go. From the first blues soaked line of Never Let Me Go there’s an immediate driving hook that doesn’t take its foot off the gas as the momentum builds throughout, marking an exceptional new single for the Manly based duo as they delve into the next step of their sure to be illustrious career.

Brothers Connor and Harry Lambrou had tremendous success across Australian community radio off the back of You Won’t Call, but the success didn’t stop there as their infectious single reached across the world to garner the love of Netherlands biggest radio station, Radio 2, giving them multiple prime time breakfast radio plays. “It's been such a source of motivation for us. The response both here in Australia, and overseas has really fuelled the fire for us, and given us the confidence that what we're doing is connecting with audiences across the globe.” says Connor Lambrou, “We are so passionate about writing real and raw music, and to have had such an amazing reaction has been really special. It just makes us want to keep giving more! More music, more shows, and more memories.”

The interest sparked massive steps for the Northern Beaches duo, having recently signed on with Colin Keenan from Roam Artists (Amyl and the Sniffers, Passenger) as their European booking agent, as well as signing a co-management deal with Pierce Brothers’ Australian based Woolstore Music and Dave Toethuis’ Plug and Play (Tones and I). “It happened so fast that it almost hasn't sunk in yet!” Connor notes, “The calibre of industry professionals that we have in our corner is incredible, and we are so grateful for their support, and passion for what we are doing. The collective experience, star power, expertise, and professionalism of Col, Dave, Pat and Jack has given us so much confidence in what we are working towards, and we have already learnt so much from these guys in first few months together. We can't wait for what's ahead.”

The growing momentum and rousing response to You Won’t Call also confirmed their appearance for showcases at Australia’s prestigious BIGSOUND music conference, as well as TWO festival invitations this September in The Netherlands at both Breda Barst Festival, and Misty Fields. With those confirmed, LamBros and their new team have now locked in for their first European and UK tour this September, visiting The Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, and England!

Flying directly from their two showcases at Brisbane’s BIGSOUND, the brothers head straight to Amsterdam to kick off their tour at Breda Barst Festival, then travel to Germany to play both Berlin and Rees-Harldern, before returning to The Netherlands to play Misty Fields Festival and Paradiso, Amsterdam. Not to forget the UK, the brothers will then travel across to Scotland to play Glassgow, then head down to Manchester before finishing up with their own London headliner show, as well as making an appearance at the revered Communion Club Night; an institution that has served as a mainstay among numerous (then unsigned) acts such James Bay, Ben Howard and many more!

Nervous, but so pumped!” Connor states, “Two HUGE days at Bigsound including conferences, multiple performances, and lots of socialising, followed by the brutal journey from Brisbane to Amsterdam, followed immediately by our first ever festival in Europe in front of 10 thousand people, we'll be fine, right?! It's such a whirlwind, but we are so here for it. This is what we always wanted, and we have no intentions of playing it safe!”

With BIGSOUND showcases locked in, and a European tour already in place, there’s definitely something to watch about these two brothers from Manly.
